The New Balance 991v2 Previews in Smooth 'Mineral Green'

A colab with , a link-up with and a drop from : it's hard to argue how strong the is holding this year. Now, the run continues with the brand’s latest in-house colourway, marking the latest addition to the Made in UK catalogue.
Scheduled to land later this month, this spritely 'Mineral Green' edition offers a fresh POV to the 991v2. A pastel-toned suede wraps the upper, layered with grey leather underlays and subtle navy accents on the iconic 'N' and 991 detailing. Cream laces and a matching midsole nod to vintage runners, while a white sockliner keeps things looking crisp.
Underfoot, updated FuelCell cushioning modernises the feel without disrupting the silhouette’s legacy. Striking the balance between old and new – and where heritage craftsmanship is reimagined through a quietly refined palette – the model's v2 shape adds just enough edge to the familiar tooling, giving the cult classic a new lease of life.
For the detail-oriented, the 991v2’s green history goes back to 2024 with the 'Kombu Green' in smooth suede and a deeper tone. Since its 2023 debut, the model has also worn hairy suede finishes, including the 'Brandied Apricot' release last July.
The New Balance 991v2 'Mineral Green' launches on June 19 via the brand's webstore. Hit the link below on the day for a chance to cop!
