Release Details: New Balance KAWHI II ‘Black/White’
It’s been a long time since we’ve seen NBA champion hit the hardwood. But that doesn’t mean we can’t lace his signature sneakers!
A sequel to the (which landed in August 2020), sneakerheads have been patiently waiting for the KAWHI II, the debut colourway landed in March 2022.
Originally unveiled with the help of Jack Harlow during February’s the KAWHI II will now adopt a classic black and white composition that allows the model’s design DNA to shine through.
Built with NB’s signature FuelCell midsoles, the model incorporates the Fit Weave Lite, a near-transparent mesh with woven fibres – for greater lockdown and support. There are also plenty of Easter eggs to keep Kawhi fans happy. The stitching is inspired by Kawhi’s braids, and the eyelets pay homage to the tail lights of ‘The Klaw’s’ favourite whip. The outsole, midsoles and uppers are modelled as if Kawhi’s famous hands are wrapped around the silhouettes.
The New Balance KAWHI II ‘Black/White’ is scheduled to land on April 1.
