Following on from the sick Snow Peak collaboration earlier this year, New Balance's Tokyo Design Studio is set to drop the interchangeable TDS Niobium Concept 1 in two GR colourways!

With a sole taken from the cult-favourite MT801, the upper has been gorped-out in a sick technical look with eVent fabrics and water-resistant zippers to ensure you stay dry. The highlight though, is that you can switch up the shoe and remove the upper, converting it from a trail-ready hiking boot to a comfy around-the-campsite mule. Other noteworthy characteristics include a removable mesh bootie, and the toggle lace system.

Two colourways offer a loud mix of yellow, black and blue, plus a toned-down sleek black.

Expect both pairs to arrive at select retailers in Japan on September 12.
