New Balance are on ‘Nimbus Cloud’ 990v5
The had big shoes to fill (pardon the pun) as the successor of the immensely popular 990 line. The fifth-generation sneaker has come of age by sticking to what it knows best: simple colourways.
The ‘Nimbus Cloud’ render is a subtle alternative to the grey standard, opting for fluffier shades of off-white. It has been used across a number of NB silhouettes to great success, and here it is on the v5, ready to do the same. Expect the usual high-quality suede and mesh combo atop ENCAP midsoles, made nowhere else but the US of A.
