The New Balance 992 Arrives with Touches of Black and Blue
The legendary made a colossal comeback in 2020 after sitting idle for 14 years. An NB flagship model, it originally released in 2006 to help celebrate the company’s 100-year anniversary. In 2020, plenty of ultra-limited colabs with the likes of , and laid the ground work for its return and of course, the was a fan-favourite. Still going strong in 2021, a flurry of heater GR combos and an influx of continue to come through. Next up to the plate is a blue, grey and black mix that’s sure to turn the heads of NB fiends.
As you can expect, the MADE in USA upper has been expertly crafted using pigskin suede atop mesh and elevated with the usual 992 reflective detailing. The bright colourway has been a common theme for the model as of late and is a welcome change to the monochromatic muted tones that usually dominate the silhouette. Two different blue hues cover the toe and midfoot with darker grey and black being the dominate force. Down below, the cushy ABZORB injected midsole is dressed in white with subtle orange hit.
Currently, this New Balance 992 is only available via Extra Butter and there are only a few sizes left, so be quick with the cop! A wider release is surely on the way so keep those eyes peeled on your local NB retailer.
