The New Balance 991 Wears ‘Bruschetta’ and ‘Ponderosa Pine’

Each year, the New Balance 991 gets dressed up in more tasteful colourways, proving time and again that they basically look good no matter what. Recently, the silhouette has been seen in bright new women’s colourways like the ‘Iced Blue’ and the ‘Pink’, and before that, it even received the hyped collaboration treatment with a co-sign from JJJJound. Now, it’s time for the New Balance 991 to receive its regular seasonal update, currently available in a duo of fresh colourways – with their namesakes arguably wilder than the finished products.

Both pairs in the duo feature that beloved Made in UK construction, each featuring comfortable cushioning thanks to their ABZORB midsoles. Further up, you’ll find the design bolstered by hairy suede and mesh uppers, with one colourway in ‘Bruschetta’ and featuring hues of coconut milk and outer space. The other is ‘Ponderosa Pine’, also boasting coconut milk and outer space trimmings. Each pair comes complete with navy branding across the tongue and heel tabs, N logos and specialised insoles.
