YCMC Receive Exclusive New Balance 990v3 Edition
Renowned US retailer are releasing a pair of that will be exclusive to their stores – the latest outcome of a generational partnership with the brand. The 99x series has particular cultural significance in the region, and this new release only continues its legend.
Designed with the intention to be worn ‘One Way. Your Way.’, this palette draws on the classic grey colourways of 99x pairs, but combines multiple shades. Fans of the brand will recognise proprietary names like ‘Nimbus Cloud’, which is used on the pigskin suede uppers; combined with ‘Kool Grey’ on the mesh inserts; and ‘Marblehead’, used as nubuck overlays on the toe box and tongue. These shades of grey can also be complemented with the four shoe lace options provided with the shoes. The uppers sit on the usual ENCAP midsole, which features a creamy heel and medial post insert for some extra contrast.
The YCMC-exclusive New Balance 990v3 will be available from their web store on August 25, plus Shoe City (who are part of the same group as YCMC) locations in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia. They’ll be available in men’s sizes 7.5 to 13 and grade school sizes 4 to 7.
