New Balance's MADE in USA line is off to a smashing start under the watchful eye of Teddy Santis, releasing premium, clean-coloured takes on the 990 series' first three models: the 990v1, 990v2 and 990v3. It's the first and third of those models that are in the spotlight today, as New Balance have announced that the MADE line's latest release will be 'Macadamia Nut' colourways of the 990v1 and 990v3.

Santis is very particular with the colour palettes he's applied to the MADE in USA releases so far: they all use a mixture of white, grey and tan shades, and the 'Macadamia Nut' drops are no exception to that rule. Each sits somewhere in the middle of Santis' colour spectrum, with the 990v3 offering a melange of light 'Macadamia Nut' tones that are accented by tastefully-placed 'Moonbeam' grey hits for contrast. On the other end of the spectrum, the 990v1 makes use of a light brown shade that's dubbed 'Incense,' using it to contrast its 'Macadamia Nut' base. It also introduces black into the mix on its midfoot logo, heel tab, midsole and Vibram rubber outsole.

If you're going (macadamia) nuts for these Teddy-led kicks, you'll be able to cop either pair when they release on June 30. The 990v1 is priced at $190, and the 990v3 arrives at $200.
