The United Kingdom is suffering through its hottest summer days ever, but about six hours north of London, the skilled craftspeople at New Balance's famed Flimby factory are still pumping out shoes fit for breezier days. Their latest creation is an autumnal take on the hybrid 920 silhouette that's dubbed 'Navy/Beige' and blends premium materials with intricate colourblocking.

A hybrid model that combines an entirely new upper with a familiar 990v3 midsole, the 920 is the mullet version of a sneaker – except instead of business in the front and party in the back it's business on the bottom and party on the top! The ENCAP midsole is dressed in a relatively simple combo of white, black and grey, but the upper artfully blends two shades of brown with navy and black across its layered suede-and-mesh upper. Its tongue nods to its premium construction with a 'Made in England' tag, while pigskin collar lining and a large N logo on the midfoot round off the look. This isn't the only navy and beige sneaker coming out of Flimby either: a similarly-styled 1500 is on the way as well.

Expect the New Balance 920 'Navy/Beige' to drop on August 4 at the retailers listed below. It'll be priced at $220.
