New Balance’s 9060 X Gets the Future Treatment

Other times, it’s smaller adjustments – such as the constant remixing of the , where minor tweaks keep the model feeling fresh without rewriting the whole playbook. The 9060 X sits right in that very space. While not yet a classic with decades behind it, the silhouette has already become a streetwear favourite. Here, it gets pulled apart and rebuilt for a sharper, future-facing look. Gone is the familiar suede and mesh formula, swapped for sleek, no-sew overlays that cut across the upper with precision.
A translucent TPU cage adds the biggest statement, layering the shoe with a structural, almost skeletal frame. And with the black and silver colourway, it all comes together in a design that feels futuristic without losing its New Balance roots.
