New Balance Bring Back the 801
In honour of its 20-year anniversary, the all-terrain 801 has been resurrected by New Balance.
Originally released in 1998 and famed for its perfect blend of trail and traditional running elements, the rugged silhouette was perfect for camping and hiking, and even had a little street cred in its heyday: Stephon Marbury rocked the kicks on the cover of SLAM in 1999. True to the OG, the 2018 version comes with a predominately grey upper of mesh and synthetic leather alongside black leather and nubuck overlays, ABZORB cushioning technology, D-ring-assisted lacing, and a combination of blue and yellow accents throughout.
Last seen in 2014, the 801 is back and available now via Notre for $100 USD.
