The prayers of many were answered when the Stussy x Nike Air Huaraches were retroed in 2021 after originally debuting back in the year 2000. Fast forward some more time, and New Balance have cooked up their next (sort of) retro that harks from that same decade.

Introducing 2022’s answer to the New Balance 580: the ‘Real Mad Stussy’. These recreated pairs look somewhat like the OGs but with a few updates. Throwing it back to 2003, New Balance, Stussy and Real Mad Hectic came together to deliver two Japan-exclusive 580s. They weren’t just any exclusive pairs, though, as they revived the brown and tan and green and yellow colourways as seen on the previous Stussy Huaraches. This time around, New Balance has flipped the colour of the nylon on each pair, with the yellow now appearing on the brown pair and the white appearing on the green. As this is a non-collaborative sneaker, Stussy branding is not found on the heels.

Both colourways are set to arrive on December 10 at various retailers.
