The New Balance 574 Gets Infused with GORE-TEX

Update February 7, 2022: Following the initial release of the orange GORE-TEX NB574 back in January, New Balance have dropped two more colourways. One can be seen in a badass tonal black and another in clean white. Shop the new iterations via New Balance below.
Throughout last year it seemed the was constantly in the sneaker headlines, hitting shelves as subtle GR heaters and crispy colabs. Especially towards the tail end, the historical NB model was touched by , , further cementing its place in the sneaker hall of fame. And, the next chapter in the book of 574 contains a major plot twist involving !
The NB574DGV2 has been covered in the water-wicking tech, shielding feet from the elements without compromising breathability. A durable construction and designed with both trail and road in mind, it boasts an ENCAP midsole and polyurethane rim. They haven’t attempted to hide that it’s been infused with GORE-TEX either, branding can be seen scattered throughout and takes up the whole medial side.
