New Balance Ready the 550 In Victorious 'Varsity Orange'
The has had quite an eventful last 18 months, serving as the centrepiece of and colabs, appearing in a special makeup designed for super-agent and rolling out in a heaping handful of in-line colourways. Now, that final category is set to grow by one thanks to the introduction of a new 'Varsity Orange' makeup.
Any retro hoop sneaker coloured white, black and orange these days has gotta prove that it's not ripping off the line, but this 550 is up to that task. First debuted in 1989, it communicates its old-school basketball style with leather uppers both smooth and perforated, bold orange and black embellishments and even a big ol' orange basketball logo slapped right on its tongue tag!
If you're ogling some orange sneakers for your December rotation, you'll be able to cop the New Balance 550 'Varsity Orange' when it releases via the New Balance website on December 1. Its MSRP is set at $110.
