Update April 8, 2022: Stockists including BSTN have opened up raffles for this New Balance 2002R, which will release on April 11.

Since its introduction in 2010, New Balance's popular 2002R has evolved from a $250 running shoe to a collaborative canvas for partners like Salehe Bembury and BAPE. Now, it's firmly cemented as an in-line lifestyle favourite that's frequently popping up in fresh colourways. One of these colourways is 'Bone/Light Beige,' a monochromatic colour scheme that offers a crisp look.

The upper is constructed from a blend of suede and mesh, both dressed in natural tan shades and accented by a touch of high-gloss leather towards the forefoot. There's a little wolf grey in the mix as well, thanks to its inclusion on the midfoot's N logo, the heel and the tongue branding/collar lining. It's not the same colour application, but the overall look is somewhat reminiscent of NAKED's recent set of takes on the 1080v11 and the 725, plus the AURALEE x New Balance 2002R. Down below, the look is finalized by a tan and grey N-ERGY midsole that provides premium cushioning.

Pairs of the 'Bone/Light Beige' have been released – and sold out – at retailers like Bait and Blends in recent weeks, and are set to drop at NAKED in the coming days, though an official date of arrival has yet to be announced. When it does drop, you can expect to plunk down $140 for a pair.
