The New Balance 1906R Joins the ‘Protection Pack’

Back in 2021, New Balance’s 2002R ‘Protection Pack’ aka ‘Refined Future’ shook the sneakersphere to its core! The deconstructed build has continued to be a fan favourite for many NB fanatics and has now crept its way onto a slew of other silhouettes. It’s already been leaked that the 57/40 will join the party alongside the 1906R.

A resurrected model, the New Balance 1906R has experienced a slow but strong 2022, already engaging in multiple colabs and crispy GR colourways. Now locked in to join the ‘Protection Pack’, the upper has been blacked out with deconstructed suede patterns adding plenty of texture. Elsewhere, mesh forms the underlays, while the midsole remains a complementary cream.
