The New Balance 1906R is primed to surge ahead of the pack over the coming months, with the archival runner recently resurrected by the Boston imprint.

The silhouette is loaded with on-trend 2000s runner energy and captures all the heritage DNA of its  2002R sibling – a sneaker still running laps around the lifestyle category in 2023.

The 1906R installs a midsole torn straight from the 860v2, and it’s been retooled to use the same cushioning system as the 2002R. Lightweight but durable, the 1906R features N-Ergy shock-absorbing outsoles and Stability Web tech for extra arch support. ACTEVA Lite midsoles and ABZORB SBS heels also take your cushioning to the next level.

The latest dynamic duo to arrive is jam-packed with throwback Y2K energy, seeing the two models’ ultra-fast aesthetics emblazoned with either a burst of metallic gold or silver. Extremely versatile for all seasons and lifestyles, the two unflinching colourways are arguably some of the best we’ve seen so far from the 1906R reboot.
