New Balance Murder Out the 1500

Made in England from the highest quality suedes, leathers and meshes, New Balance's beloved 1500 is a prime example of a high-end running shoe turned cult favourite lifestyle silhouette. Most 1500s veer decidedly towards the colourful or minimalistic side of the spectrum – there doesn't seem to be a ton of middle ground – and its new murdered-out black leather style might just be the most low key makeup yet.

Crafted entirely of leather, this New Balance 1500 stakes a claim to be the ultimate service industry shoe, as long as its soles are slip-resistant! As can be seen in the on-foot photos above (does the right shoe look gigantic in the wide shot above or is that just us?) and the product shots below, the black upper is supplied with just a pinch of flair thanks to its silver branded accents while New Balance's famed ENCAP technology supplies comfort and support in the midsole.

Following the recent release of a glow-in-the-dark 1500, this black leather iteration is available now via retailers like atmos. If you're looking to acquire a pair either for work or for a subtle casual flex, you can expect to fork out over ¥30,800, roughly $267, inclusive of tax.
