Neon Lights Up the adidas LXCON 94

With 70 years of heritage, have plenty of footwear material to work with. Expanding their retro lineup beyond the typical ZX and terrace lines is the 94, a mid-range runner from 25 years ago.

Appearing in a more contemporary colourway of a black upper sharply contrasted by bright neon orange and yellow, this is how to modernise a retro sneaker while preserving its original shape. Making the LXCON’s lace ‘cable’ bright orange is a clever touch to contrast against the black. It also looks like adidas have gotten the midsole adiPRENE font pretty close to the OG’s. Nice work.
