After A Sold Out Debut More New Balance ABZORB 2000 Colourways Inbound

After much build-up, the was finally released yesterday, and it sold out instantly. Taking cues from 2000s running shoes while adding a futuristic flair, it has all the makings of a hit. Though only halfway through 2025, could this be the best new silhouette? The inaugural colourway, ‘Agate Blue’, drew its inspiration from the ABZORB cushioning, which was originally available in blue. Now, after coming out of the gates hot, additional colourways are surfacing.

One of the pairs presents as a more muted counterpart to the eye-catching ‘Agate Blue’ pair; the ‘Black/Grey’ colourway is expected in the coming months. Keeping true to the heart of the design, the full-length ABZORB pods maintain their traditional blue hue. The other colourway that has surfaced is a lighter, more airy shade with hits of silver and light blue. The white midsole and grey ABZORB pods create a crisp vibe perfect for hitting the streets on a sunny day.

The New Balance ABZORB 2000 expertly balances nostalgia and newness, resulting in one of the best new models we’ve seen from the Boston Brand in recent years. While still early, it appears to have the makings of a fan favourite. These two subsequent releases are expected to be available sometime in the next few months.
