Mizuno's 'Kintsugi' Pack Drops This Week
Following their collaborative with , are keeping things local. Taking inspiration from Kintsugi, a Japanese art form, it makes its way onto the Mizuno Contender and Wave Rider 10.
Kintsugi embraces imperfection by mixing lacquer and dusted precious metals to repair broken pottery, treating the breakage as a part of its journey and history rather than disguising it. The Wave Rider 10 opts for shades of grey overlaid on the white mesh base, as hits of fragmented gold are seen on the Runbird logo and throughout. The Contender has a white mesh base with cream overlays and black and gold accenting, tapping into the Kintsugi inspiration.
The Mizuno Contender and Wave Rider 10 ‘Kintsugi’ are set to drop on November 3, 2023 via select Mizuno retailers such as Footpatrol, END., Urban Industry, and Main Source. Check out the photos above and hit the links below to purchase.
