The tonal Asian-inspired embroidery and fonts tie in with the yellow and black colourway – but WTF is going on with those insoles!? Minions and Shaquille O’Neal seem like they belong in entirely different universes, but some Internet sleuthing solves the mystery. This sneaker was supposedly a tie-in to the Minions 2 movie that was supposed to premiere this year, but has since been postponed to 2021. And, there’s a picture of Shaq and the Minions at a theme park from 2012… So maybe the crossover isn’t so crazy after all.
