The Air Jordan 18 'White/Royal' will return to shelves in early 2018. The shoe, which has never before received the retro treatment, was worn by in his final ever NBA game as part of the Washington Wizards. White leather uppers are accented with translucent midsoles and inner linings in the Wizard's royal blue. The AJ18 drew inspiration from sports cars and Italian design, which can be easily recognised in the magnetic midfoot shroud that conceals the laces.

These leaked sample images show next year's release to be a faithful recreation of the original, although it's unknown if they'll come packaged with a matching Jordan-branded towel as the OGs did.

This marks only the second time since its 2003 debut that the Air Jordan 18 has been brought back from the archives – the other being part 2008's AJ 5/AJ 18 'Countdown' pack. The release, which follows 2016's return of the , suggests that Jordan Brand will be skipping out on a proper OG  retro, although the reasons for this are unknown.

The Air Jordan 18 'White/Royal' retro is rumoured to hit stockists January 2018. We'll hit you with official details closer to release.
