News on this release was first published on November 9, 2023.

Update November 14, 2023: Fast food fans won't have to wait much longer to satisfy their appetite, as the long-awaited McDonalds x Crocs colab will be available to buy later on today. You can shop the collection at Crocs.com, or at select retailers.

As if their Shrek, Elf and MSCHF collaborations weren’t already enough, Crocs are once again making waves with their latest joint project. This time, they’ve teamed up with everyone’s favourite fast-food establishment to serve up four styles inspired by the Golden Arches. That’s to say, if you’re a McDonald’s fan, then you’re in for a treat.

Given that Crocs has already worked with the likes of KFC and Taco Bell, it’s no surprise that a Maccies colab was next on the menu, but this four-piece serving is more than just chicken wing Jibbitz or branded slides. Instead, Crocs has chosen to base its colab around McDonalds’ key characters, meaning there’s a pair to suit Birdie, Hamburglar and Grimace, as well as one that’s dressed in the chain’s signature red and yellow hues à la Ronald.

All of them use the Crocs Classic Clog as a starting point, aside from the ‘Grimace’ pair, which uses the Classic Cozzy Sandal as a base. Each pair also comes with matching Jibbitz, including the corresponding characters and menu items. Crocs are also selling the Jibbitz in a separate pack, so you can customise your existing pairs.

The best bit? If you're based in Australia, McDonald’s x Crocs is actually available to buy right now over at Crocs, so you can pick up your pair with the same speedy service you’d expect from a fast-food chain. The rest of the world will have to wait until the 14th of November, but be sure to stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for more on the release as it comes in.
