Marvel x PlayStation x adidas Release a Web-Slinging Superstar for Spider-Man: Miles Morales
This year has marked some major milestones in the video game and footwear world, and occasionally these hobbies intersect in the form of a sneaker collaboration. This three-way effort between , PlayStation, and the has a lot to celebrate.
Firstly, are releasing the Spider-Man: Miles Morales video game soon. Secondly, it will be launched on PlayStation’s PS4 and PS5 consoles, the latter of which will be available later this month. Thirdly, it’s the adidas Superstar’s 50th anniversary this year. And this seemingly unlikely union works together quite well!
Using the Spider-Man suit as thematic inspiration, these red and black Superstars feature leather uppers with contrast stripes, eyestays, tongue, shoelaces, sole and toe cap. The two-toned black midsole with red outsole is also a not-often-seen option. Custom features include web graphics on the ankle tab and printed inner soles bearing the PlayStation logo, Insomniac Games logo, and the Spider-Man symbol. There is also a PlayStation-branded dubrae on these Shelltoes.
