Nike are going to let their self-lacing Adapt series sprawl over new categories. The brand only just set their Adapt BB loose on the hardwood, but CEO Mark Parker is now promising more.
In Nike’s conference call for the Q3 Earnings Release, Parker said, ‘And building off the successful adaptive Basketball launch this quarter, we’ll expand the platform into new categories and embed the Adapt technology even further into our digital ecosystem’.
He also noted that they would introduce a ‘completely new cushioning system designed to get more people running’.
