It’s been over two years since Mache debuted his signature sneaker, the Mache Runner, which has seen over twenty colourways in a short amount of time. Mache is currently ramping up to drop a sequel this summer, but as May 4th approaches, he’s releasing one last colourway fit for Padawans across the universe.
The Mache Runner ‘Jedi’ takes homage from the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Jedi’ from 2004. The mossy and swamp-like colourway is inspired by the planet Dagobah in Empire Strikes Back, the Jedi training ground for Luke and Yoda. Premium tan leather makes up the base of the sneaker with forest green overlays. Neon yellow accents the sneaker, prominently on the contrast stitching, laces, and heeltab, with Mache’s branding stitched on the tongue in the same hue. The Vibram midsole is seen in a chocolate brown with a rugged gum outsole finishing off the sneaker.
The Mache Runner ‘Jedi’ will be open for pre-order fittingly on May 4, 2023, from 11:00 AM ET on ,machecustoms.com. The sneaker will retail for $300, and pre-orders will be live for 24 hours.
