From Table to Terrain: Little Tokyo Table Tennis Level Up With ASICS Colab

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the rise of wellness culture has brought with it a wave of brand-led communities: run clubs, meet-ups and organised moments of movement. One of those is – an exercise-driven ping-pong community that has expanded far beyond its DIY roots. Starting off as a simple Tuesday night meet-up at the Terasaki Budokan community hub in downtown LA, the collective has transformed into a full-blown movement – every week the paddles come out, the energy’s buzzing and the community shows up in full force.
With a steady stream of in-house apparel already making waves, the brand is clearly gaining momentum. Building on the success of its debut collaboration with , Little Tokyo Table Tennis have now stepped up their game by unveiling a new partnership with none other than .
Paying homage to LTTT's penchant for repurposed garments, the chosen model – ASICS' GEL-Nimbus 10.1 – arrives in a zingy yellow colourway, with the tongue featuring a layered white fabric build and black netting underneath. The club’s signature logo sits front and centre, while beaded white laces add both texture and a playful nod to customisation.
Beyond the sneakers, the collection arrives as a fully realised capsule. LTTT and ASICS have put together a co-branded outfit that includes a matching top and pants, a structured cap and a pair of retro-inspired sweat wristbands, rounding out a look that blends function, flair and community-driven design.
Don't sleep on this one. The LTTT x ASICS GEL-Nimbus 10.1 hits shelves on June 7 at the brand’s 40++++ store in Los Angeles and on the Little Tokyo Tennis webstore.
