Back-to-Back: Lionel Messi’s adidas Superstar Duo Takes the Pitch

The 2026 FIFA Club World Cup is underway, and Inter Miami CF’s spot means is back competing on a huge platform once again (where – let's face it – he loves to be). Just before the club's opening match with Al Ahly FC, the soccer lord was spotted rocking his own colourway, and the chatter hasn't stopped since.

According to sources online, the special edition shell toe is expected to drop later this year. The traditional Superstar text on the midfoot is replaced with updated branding for Argentine icon Messi, with the logo stamped on a golden tongue tag and debossed onto the lateral heel. An off-white rubber toe cap and 'Clear Pink' upper complete the design, with black stripes standing in for the traditional Three Stripes detail.

The second instalment in Messi’s Superstar lineup strips things back, spotlighting the form of the original. Dressing the silhouette in soft 'Crew White' tones from top to toe, sharp contrast comes through in 'Semi Blue Burst' accents across the Three Stripes, tongue tag, and heel tab, mirroring the colour story of Inter Miami’s latest third kit.
