Li-Ning 001 and Sun Chaser Headline the S/S 2020 Collection
Revealed at last year, Spring/Summer 2020 collection is now available globally, with the 001 and Sun Chaser silhouettes headlining the range.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the 001 has a special place in the brand’s history. For S/S 2020, the Li-Ning design team pays homage to the historic model in a series of editions dubbed the ‘001 Moments’. Each ‘moment’ offers a modern remix of the original’s retro aesthetic, updating the icon with fresh colour pairings, deconstructed design details, uncut threads, exposed manufacturing tags, visible construction markings, and updated textiles.
Going for a more modern approach, the Sun Chaser features a mesh upper, overlaid with leather details, an exaggerated heel detail, and is complete with a slip-resistant, rubber tread sole.
