Release Date: The LeBron James x Nike Air Max 95
As spotted earlier this month, has dressed his very own for the second time, on this occasion opting for a Lakers-themed approach. Following up from the black and blue ‘Game Time’ iteration that landed back in 2015, this mismatched AM95 sports the purple and gold colours of the Lakers, as well as a number of special LeBron branding adornments.
Chief amongst those individual touches is LeBron’s crown logo on the tongues and insoles, plus ‘2’ and ‘3’ being etched onto the lacing unit. Then when you flip the shoe over, the ‘2’ and ‘3’ theme continues, alongside some key notes on LeBron’s most notable career achievements.
Similar to that ‘Game Time’ release from six years ago, the Air Max 95’s iconic layered upper is leveraged with a gradient fade, as both the gold and purple land in various shades. Elsewhere, the purple and gold hits receive further contrast with neat additions of black.
While initial reports suggested pairs of the latest LeBron James x Nike Air Max 95 would hit Nike and selected Swoosh stockists on March 30, currently have it listed as releasing on April 7.
