The Leaders 1354 x Under Armour Curry Pack Drops This Weekend
Chicago sneaker culture is rich, and Leaders 1354 are one of the pioneers and cornerstone retailers in the city. With numerous collaborations under their belt over the 20-plus years, Leaders have now linked up with and the Curry Brand on the Curry 2 Low FloTro and Curry Flow Cozy.
The Curry 2 Low FloTro is a modern update of Steph’s signature sneaker, changing up the midsole tooling by replacing the UA Charged midsole with UA Flow. The colourway is a homage to Summertime Chi and the essential dessert of Italian Ice during the sweltering months. A pink-to-blue gradient is featured on the upper with the Leaders L-Wing logo placed on the heel and co-branding respectively seen on the tongue.
The colab takes it off the court, as well as the fact that the Curry Flow Cozy’s storytelling comes from the underdog hooper that can’t see any playing time. The black upper represents the kid who stays late at the park getting up shots and working on their game, with the iridescent toebox being a reflection of the possibility the kid sees inside. A bulbous glow-in-the-dark UA Flow midsole finishes off the sneaker.
