Krink and Nike, Together Again
Hey , 2007 called, they want their colab back. OK, OK – in spite of the fact that graffiti artist sneaker collaborations have become more than a little bit naff over the last decade, these Krink are mighty fresh. But before you start clearing a spot on your Ikea Kallax (the shelving system formerly known as Expedit) sneaker display, we’re sorry to say that you’re probably not going to be able to get your hands on a pair.
The man behind the drippy moniker, Craig Costello, has been hanging about as an ‘artist in residence’ at Nike’s NYC customisation lab – which is where he created the beauties you see here. Nevertheless, fingers crossed for more of those pink and silver AF1s – they’ve got good times written all over them.
