Kith Celebrate Seoul Flagship Store with ASICS GEL-LYTE III

started in 2011 as a shop inside Atrium in the West Village of New York City and has blossomed into 12 locations across the globe today. and company are continuing to expand as a Seoul flagship store is on the way, and to celebrate, Kith are dropping a collaborative .

Teased on Ronnie Fieg’s Instagram, the sneaker uses an all suede build, using hairy suede on the majority of the overlays. The colours of the South Korean flag, known as Taegeukgi, seem to be the inspiration of the sneaker, albeit the iteration opts for softer blues and deeper reds that are seen on the flag. The soft grey upper uses a quilted stitching pattern as the Tiger Stripe is seen in a slightly darker hue. Kith branding seems to be kept to a minimum, likely only seen on the insole, as a cream midsole and soft brown outsole finishes off the sneaker.

It’s unknown when the Kith x ASICS GEL-LYTE III ‘Seoul’ will drop, but expect them to align with the Kith Seoul flagship grand opening. Keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for any updates.
