Kith and Converse Keep Things Classic On the Chuck 70

may have only revealed his upcoming work with just yesterday, but the NYC-based designer has much more in the tank. Continuing his efforts at the helm of his own brand and retailer, , it's been confirmed that a colab is in the works. Once again, the approach is consistent with what Kith do best – serving up ultra-clean interpretations of classic silhouettes. Let’s get into it.

Though Converse aren’t exactly short of styles to choose from, Kith haven’t overcomplicated their selection. Instead, they’ve chosen to fine-tune the , the minimalist staple that’s previously been reinterpreted by the likes of , and . Each of these examples have resulted in wildly different iterations, but Kith are keeping things simple with a focus on elevating the model’s materials.

The collection includes three colourways. There’s a black pair that boasts subtle all-over Kith monogramming in a one-colour checkerboard pattern, and a green-toned ‘Scarab’ version that features a Kith’s 'Deco Monogram' design. Both of these come crafted from premium leather. A neutral-toned option also makes the cut, with canvas uppers and a wavy all-over logo design for a slightly more casual feel. Think of it like this: if the two leather iterations are for stomping around , the canvas is more for strolling a beachfront. Kith just so happen to have stores in both locations.
