After weird and wonderful GEL-Sokat Infinity dropped earlier this year, the Bulgarian designer is reworking the silhouette.

Whereas the first iteration’s asymmetric upper took cues from tug of war shoes, the GEL-Sokat Infinity II draws inspiration from another left of centre performance model – wrestling shoe, the Dan Gable Ultimate. Its mid-top construction employs various mesh forms and swooping PU moulding to bold effect, while full length GEL under foot provides all-day comfort and 21st century appeal.

To get your piece of Kostadinov creativity, look for ‘Carrier Grey’ and ‘Coffee’ colourways to hit ASICS on August 8.
