Kicks Lab and ASICS Join Forces for the GEL-Lyte V 'KL-Shogun'

Japanese sneaker boutique Kicks Lab and ASICS sure know how to craft a killer collaboration, and they’re revisiting the GEL-Lyte V for their latest link-up: the ‘KL-Shogun’.

The duo kicked off their partnership back in 2015 with the GLV ‘Phys Ed’, but this latest colourway vibes off the Japanese heritage seen in their recent GEL-Lyte III releases.

The upper is murdered-out in black and dark grey nubuck, with the familiar ASICS side stripes donning a bold reflective material in red. Meanwhile, the insoles get a shadow graphic of a ‘Shogun’, joining a healthy dose of co-branded hits to round things out.

The Kicks Lab x ASICS GEL-Lyte V ‘KL-Shogun’ releases at Kicks Lab stores in Japan on April 29. There’s no news of a global release, but we expect them to roll out at select retailers in the coming months. Stay tuned!
