Kevin Durant Returns to Seattle in Custom Nike Cortez ‘Supersonics’
Basketball returned to the Emerald City for the first time in 10 years over the weekend, the Key Stadium in Seattle playing host to an NBA preseason match between the Warriors and Kings.
Making his return to the city that originally drafted him back in 2007, Kevin Durant used the opportunity to flex some retro Seattle Supersonics gear, including a red and green Shawn Kemp jersey. KD was also seen repping some Nike Cortez ‘Seattle Supersonics’ designed by Ben Kirschner. Subtle Supersonics details hit the classic silhouette, including ‘KD 35’ on the heels, a team logo on the insole, and tongue labels highlighting the Supersonics’ founding year in 1967.
