Anwar Carrots’ K-Swiss Racquet Club Drop 2 Is Stacked

Anwar Carrots Wearing K-Swiss Racquet Club Drop 2

In June this year, announced of as the creative director of the fresh-faced K-Swiss Racquet Club – aka KSRC – imprint. The initial reception to the announcement took the sneakersphere by storm, but that was to be expected; Anwar is one of the premier voices in LA’s renowned street fashion scene.

‘I’m not just collaborating – I’m contributing to the rebirth of a legacy,’ Anwar said in June of the partnership. ‘It’s always part of my vision to align with heritage brands that have real roots. My role now is about bringing heritage, culture, and clean white tennis shoes straight from my creative garden. We’re cultivating something fresh, but true to the roots of K-Swiss.’

The first drop saw Anwar succeed in his task of reinterpreting the K-Swiss tennis legacy through a modern lens, and the six-shoe collection was received well by fans across the globe. Now, KSRC are preparing their second batch, which will bring seven more styles into the collaborative fold.

The fresh drop includes the KSRC Before the Classic, an archival style that came (as it says on the tin) before the iconic Classic 66 in the K-Swiss chronology, as well as the KSRC Konejo, a reimagined Y2K running shoe. The KSRC Classic 66 will get its own new take, as will the 1989 tennis shoe-inspired KSRC Si-18 International C, the modernised tennis-geared KSRC Slammklub, and the premium KSRC Gstaad Gold. Rounding out the septet is the brand-spanking-new KSRC Kraft, which pays homage to classic workwear.

‘I had to take it back – I placed my mind in 1998, back to being eight years old in Orlando, Florida,’ Anwar said of the collection. ‘My dad used to rock K-Swiss heavy, and the way he’d coordinate his outfits with a fresh white pair was always clean to me. That memory is what shaped this collection.’

You can expect the entire KSRC Drop 2 to land through the K-Swiss channels on September 19. This won’t be the last of Anwar Carrots and K-Swiss; the KSRC division are confirmed to launch four seasonal collections in the early months of 2026.
