Juun.J Inflate Three Reebok Pump Omni Zone 2 Colabs
Korean fashion label Juun.J are continuing their long-running relationship with , which dates back to a prescient runway-meets-sneakers collaboration in 2008. In 2021, couture meets kicks once again, this time on the Omni Zone 2, confirming Juun.J’s particular preference for inflatable sneakers, as recently evidenced by their . The colab has again opted for minimalist luxury by way of tonal colours and premium materials.
Riffing off the Pump Omni Zone 2’s OG leather build, Juun.J add a luxurious touch with vachetta-style uppers in monochromatic finishes of ‘Wild Brown’, ‘Footwear White’, and black. The details are decadent, including perforated toe boxes, tongues and mid panels; glossy ankle and forefoot plastic lace reinforcement straps; stamped lateral heel counter branding; rawhide laces; and a new oversized plastic heel pull featuring Juun.J’s logo. This interesting addition adds a futuristic touch to a decidedly old-school sneaker all the way from 1991. And while it’s unlikely many sneaker and fashion heads will be trying to recreate the famous Dee Brown No-Look Dunk from 30 years ago in these Pumps, this cool colab will look just as good on feet and feeds.
The Juun.J x Reebok Pump Omni Zone 2 will release directly from Reebok and Juun.J, plus selected retailers, from August 19.
