Jungles Jungles x ASICS Unite for Airbrushed GEL-Cumulus 16 Colab

have teamed up with Aussie label for a rugged take on the GEL-Cumulus 16. The release forms part of the Japanese giant’s Crafts for Minds program, an initiative that unites the brand with global designers to support charitable causes.
Founded by Jack Ferguson, Jungles Jungles are a streetwear-come-escapist platform that channels the rebellious energy of 60s counterculture. Their graphics – designed exclusively by Ferguson – merge anti-establishment messaging with chaotic, often satirical visuals inspired by tattoo culture, 70s kitsch and tourist souvenirs. The result is a provocative, non-conformist identity that’s deeply embedded in streetwear culture.
According to , the collaborative model showcases custom airbrushing techniques paired with Jungles Jungles’ signature norm-flipping graphics and 60s counterculture aesthetic. Branding from the Melbourne-based label appears on the heel, while added hardware details accent the collar, giving the performance runner a street-ready appeal.
The Jungles Jungles x ASICS GEL-Cumulus 16 will be released in limited quantities, first on August 14–16 at the ASICS SportStyle pop-up at the Chinatown Country Club in Sydney, and then from August 20–23 at the No Vacancy Gallery in Melbourne. A wider release will follow on August 22 via the Jungles Jungles webstore.
