Jordan Brand's Drops a Zoom Tenacity 88 for Prefontaine Classic
Jordan Brand is taking its influence off court and onto the track, whipping up a mismatched Zoom Tenacity 88 for the recent 2018 Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Oregon.
Inspired by the Air Jordan 3, the low-cut silhouette has been given a split-coloured makeover with ‘Infrared’ and ‘Volt’, echoing the Nike Zoom Jasari track spike from 1996. The shoe’s performance was put to the test at the event by Jordan Brand athletes Erik Kynard (high jump), Matt Centrowitz (1500m), and Renaud Lavillenie (pole vault).
Unfortunately, only limited pairs were released at Nike Eugene. We’ll keep you posted regarding a wider release.
