Jordan Brand and Nike Unveil Full NBA All-Star 2020 Collection
The NBA’s best are set to converge on Chicago from February 14–16 for All-Star Weekend 2020. As anticipated, Jordan Brand, Nike and Converse have officially unveiled their sneaker smorgasbord for the event, highlighted by the much-hyped ‘New Beginnings’ pack featuring the Air Ship PE and the Air Jordan 1 in OG ’85 construction.
The Jumpman aims to spotlight Chicago through the theme of UNITE, celebrating how basketball creates change that transcends the game. Aside from a killer lineup of Air Jordan 1s, the collection will also include the ‘Red Cement’ Air Jordan 3 and the ‘Racer Blue’ Air Jordan 9. As for the modern performance options, there’s colourways of the Why Not? Zer0.3 and Air Jordan 34.
Nike are using the weekend to highlight the signature players on their roster through a host of quirkily themed colourways. The LeBron 17 comes through in a Space Jam ‘Monstars’ scheme, while the Zoom Freak 1 nods to Coming to America with an ‘Employee of the Month’ rendition. Meanwhile, Don C puts his spin on the KD 12, with the Kyrie 6 and PG 4 rounding out Team Swoosh’s offerings.
Not to be outdone, Converse draw from their rich basketball heritage with a host of classic court takes, as well as modern performance options. Choose from the throwback Pro Leather OG or the contemporary All Star BB.
