Joe Freshgoods’ Every Now & Then x New Balance Return With a Flavoured Classic

is reuniting with under his Every Now & Then imprint, shifting gears from slip-ons to something more rooted in legacy. This time, the focus is on the : a silhouette that needs no introduction, but still finds new life through the Chicagoans creative lens.

Earlier this year, JFG explored casual comfort through the laceless– a soft, easy-going slip-on wrapped in minimal branding and mellow tones. Dubbed 'Mint Gum', this new release flips the energy, trading in the colabs modern minimalism for something more archival. The NB 992, with its storied history and cult following, brings structure back into the mix while still carrying the tastemaker's unmistakable design DNA.

For the latest edition, the upper arrives layered with soft beige leather and cream mesh, setting a neutral base that allows the mint green accents to really breathe. Suede panels at the toe, heel and eyestays bring texture and colour contrast, while matching hits on the tongue and 'N' logo give the palette a sense of balance.

Sticking with the details, elsewhere, subtle nods to Every Now & Then and Made in USA detailing keep things minimal up top, while underneath, ABZORB cushioning pairs with a layered midsole and gum outsole for both comfort and a seasonal feel.
