JJJJound’s Collaboration With Salomon Is Set for August

Since starting out as a digital moodboard in 2006, have evolved into one of the most distinctive names within the sneakersphere. Known for their stripped-back approach, the Montreal-based studio have worked with the likes of , , and , elevating familiar silhouettes through subtle tweaks, premium materials, and a signature heavy dose of normcore minimalism that has attracted audiences around the globe.
Now, they're heading further into the outdoors. After releasing an , JJJJound return to with a new take on the : a cult favourite among GORPcore loyalists and city dwellers alike.
The minimalist mavens' take on the performance model keeps things sharp and technical, staying true to the silhouette’s trail-ready DNA while going hard on the branding. Dressed in a dark grey mesh base with black synthetic overlays, the upper is accented by a bold, tri-coloured lace shroud featuring red, yellow and blue racing stripes running down the centreline, topped with dual-branded hits.
Around the back, red Salomon and JJJJound wordmarks land on opposing heels. The matte black counter and mesh paneling reinforce the utilitarian feel, while the rugged outsole and sculpted black midsole keep things trail-ready.
