Jerry Lorenzo Teases New Nike Air Fear of God 180 Inspired by the Air Raid
Fear of God founder Jerry Lorenzo may have just given us a peek at the next iteration of his collaborative Nike Air Fear of God 180.
Taking to IG, Lorenzo shared a gallery featuring a mysterious new take of the strapped sneaker alongside its inspiration: the Air Raid from 1992. The choice should come as no surprise to those who read our interview with Jerry back in December last year, when he told us that the Air Raid was his all-time favourite Nike sneaker.
The contemporary 180 borrows the Air Raid’s unique crossed straps and profile, but brings the fashion-forward FOG flair synonymous with all their recent Nike drops. However, this version does look slightly different from the previous ‘Black’ and ‘Light Bone’ colourways, sporting an updated throat area and a lace toggle as seen on the Fear of God x Nike Air Skylon II.
It’s difficult to pick out the colours considering the monochrome leaked shots, but signs point to a black and grey scheme similar to the OG Air Raid.
Stay tuned for updates!
