JD Sports Have a Stronghold on the adidas Powerphase
The is back – and it’s only at . It has been a while between drinks for the throwback fitness trainer that was revived from the mid-80s thanks to a Yeezy co-sign, so adi are clearing the slate – literally. And this is the cleanest re-creation of the Powerphase yet.
Harking back to the crispy kicks of old, this Powerphase is immaculate in pure white leather. The super simple uppers are devoid of any branding, save for the distinct Three Stripe stitching on the midfoot, grosgrain ‘window’ beneath the lateral eyestays, and goldfoil spell-out. All of which serve as focal points for this high-impact OG rendition of a genuine classic.
Underfoot, ridged rubber soles encourage plenty of flexing, and all without any risk of slipping. The strategic perforations and mesh lining keep conditions cool, not clammy. And, in case you needed any more convincing, they cut an especially sleek shape on-foot!
