Jay Chou Teases PHANTACi x Nike Air Max 95
Actor, director and king of Mandopop, Jay Chou, has just teased another x colab – this time on the !
Taiwanese boutique PHANTACi is a niche sneakersphere collaborator, but don’t gloss over their sparse catalogue – it’s all killer, no filler. Ever since the late 2000s, they’ve dropped linkups with , and that have sold out with the quickness and gone on to be sneaker legends. Their most well known is the , which launched in 2009. Initially, this silhouette was limited to 400 pairs and dropped exclusively through PHANTACi's brick-and-mortar. Last year, Nike decided to bring back the ‘Grand Piano’, albeit with a wider global drop.
Just like this partnership's previous project, the PHANTACi x Nike Air Max 95 is set to focus on music, and will be a three-way linkup alongside Chou. A guitar theme can be seen in the teasers, with a co-branded Nike Air pick used as a hangtag. A creamy hue is the chosen colourway, complemented by Jay Chou’s name scripted across the tongue and the PHANTACi logo on the midsole.
There’s no release dates for the Jay Chou x PHANTACi x Nike Air Max 95 just yet, but we’re expecting a launch soon.
