This GL3 is a very clean edition, using tonal shades of pale white, dispersed across a mixture of OG nylon on the tongue and toe box, suede mid panel, and toe bumper, and smooth leather on the Tiger Stripe branding and heel counter. It has all the makings of a classic colourway, down to the two-toned white and grey GEL midsole and translucent outsole, which transitions from a gum heel, clear centre, and light grey toe cap. The understated execution continues with tonal laces, smooth fabric lining, and ever so slightly creamy laces. Which results in a versatile sneaker that can be worn with just about every outfit, and blends in without standing out – yet will surprise upon closer inspection.
Like emmi’s previous colabs, these GEL-Lyte IIIs are only releasing in women’s sizing, ranging between 22.5 to 25cm, which converts to about size 5 to 8 US women’s, including half sizes.
