JAH JAH Remix the adidas Megaride S2

Paris-based creative collective JAH JAH have teamed up with to reimagine the Megaride S2 — a performance runner that first debuted in the early 2000s. Unveiled during JAH JAH’s Spring/Summer 2026 show at Paris Fashion Week, this collaboration fuses Afro-Caribbean identity with futuristic design, offering a striking visual on and off the runway.
Originally designed as a technical running shoe, the Megaride S2 was celebrated for its distinctive cushioning system: a plush heel unit paired with a low-to-the-ground forefoot for responsive performance. While it never reached icon status like other Three Stripes runners, the Megaride S2 built a cult following among athletes and sneakerheads who appreciated its unconventional silhouette and focus on comfort.
JAH JAH’s take on the Megaride S2 is anchored by a vivid gradient of red, yellow, and green – a direct nod to the Ethiopian flag and Pan-African unity. This colourful foundation is overlaid with a black grid pattern, adding visual depth and a modern edge. Additional highlights include a matte zippered shroud over the tongue, glossy patent leather trim at the ankle, and bold 'JAH' lettering in contrasting red and yellow.
Founded by Daquisiline Gomis and Coralie Jouhier, JAH JAH first made waves in Paris as an Afro-vegan restaurant and cultural sanctuary. Their transition into fashion continues their mission of celebrating diaspora culture through bold, purposeful design.
The JAH JAH x adidas Megaride S2 is expected to release in 2026 via adidas and select retailers.
